While we’re huge fans of Nutrisystem at DietDynamo.org, there will come a point when you need to cancel the service or move into “maintenance mode” at the very least.
There are some pretty basic steps that you can take to stop your meal delivery shipments.
Before you do, however, there are a few things that you will want to keep in mind prior to stopping your shipments.

This phone number will take you directly to Nutrisystem Customer Service, and after talking with a representative you should be able to cancel your subscription without any issues.
I have had to cancel more than a few times over the years, and I can tell you from experience that the Nutrisystem reps are always super friendly, and I have never felt pressured to keep my meal delivery subscription or to buy any of the other products – which isn’t always the case with other companies I have had to call.
In most cases, they should be able to pull up your account information simply by using your first and last name.
It does help to have your order number handy, though, and you may even want to write down the login name you use to access Nutrisystem.com.
Once they have your account information pulled up, the cancellation process is quick and easy. That being said, there are a couple of other factors to consider when canceling.
Did You Use Their Auto-Delivery Discount?
When you sign up for the Auto-Delivery Program, Nutrisystem rewards you with free FedEx shipping and some other discounts depending on their current promotions.
If you decide to cancel your Auto-Delivery after the first month on the program you will have to pay a fee for canceling early. The last time I checked the fee ran about $125.
How to Cancel Nutrisystem without Paying Auto-Delivery Penalty
If you use their program for a month, and either reach your weight loss goals or just decided it’s not working for you, there are some ways to stop your food subscription, without having to pay this $125 fee.
The easiest way that I have found to do this is to switch your meal delivery order, to a TurboShake order.
You can get a month’s supply of the TurboShakes for under $100 the last time I checked. If you make this switch, you shouldn’t have to pay the auto-delivery cancellation fee, and the $100 shake order is about a third of what you pay to have all of the meals delivered to you.
Then, after you receive your shipment of Turbo Shakes you can call and cancel auto-delivery for them without having to pay the $125 penalty.

Can You Cancel Nutrisystem Online?
This was an option I explored, as I typically dread having to call a speak to a customer service rep – in so many cases they try upselling you or talking you out of what your original plan, like canceling Nutrisystem for example.
I already explained above that the Nutrisystem reps (at least none of these I have ever talked to) won’t do this when you call – they’re friendly and helpful in my experience.
This said I haven’t found a way that you can cancel your meal delivery subscription online. You can delay your shipment, though, so if you’re thinking about canceling it can be helpful to log in to your account and delay your delivery by a month or two, just to buy yourself some time.
Bottom Line: Call Customer Support
There are plenty of other things you can do with your online account as well, like upgrading or downgrading your service, picking out foods and shakes, and more – you just can’t cancel your service, as far as I can tell – so plan on calling the number above if you’re wanting to cancel Nutrisystem completely!
